My CliftonStrengths Assessment (and what it means)

CliftonStrengths is a test created by Gallup that helps us determine what qualities are our strengths and weaknesses. They do this by approaching each quality as a metric of talent and investment.

Talents are our naturally recurring patterns of thought, feeling, or behavior. They're innate and natural abilities we can apply easily and immediately.

Turning our talents into strengths means we invest in them through practice and adding knowledge and skills to them. Our strengths are the culmination of this little formula.

There are 34 themes as possible results in the assessment, each falling under a domain. There are 4 domains: Executing, Influencing, Relationship Building, and Strategic Thinking.

After taking the test in my Gateway class, I learned my top 5 strengths are Includer, Woo, Empathy, Developer, and Restorative. I see all these traits high in myself, so I was not overly surprised by the results.
